Glyn Hughes, interim CEO at Mothercare is to leave the beleaguered business at the end of June. Mothercare confirmed that Hughes, who previously held the role of CFO with the business, had declined to be considered for the CEO role on a permanent basis.
Mothercare will be relocating to smaller head office premises in August and has sub-leased part of its main warehouse to a third party, all in a bid to reduce overheads.
