AMARA has announced that Mark Higgins has been appointed as its chief operations officer (COO) which is a brand-new role in its business.
Having spent 24 years at Charles Tyrwhitt, where he was an integral part of the leadership team that grew the business from one turning over £4.5m, to an internationally known multi-channel retailer generating over £225m sales per annum. Mark has since been consulting for several businesses, helping build and develop operations, infrastructure and customer service. At AMARA he will be working closely with fulfilment, logistics and customer care to manage and advance these functions for improved day-to-day operational performance and future growth globally.
Speaking about his role, Mark Higgins (pictured) said: “AMARA is a progressive retailer that has already developed an excellent customer experience; I will be building on this by supporting all operational areas to take the brand to the next stage of growth. I’m thrilled to be joining such an experienced team and dynamic business.”
