Amplience raises US $8 million & boosts team


Amplience has secured US $8 million funding from Silicon Valley Bank and Columbia Lake Partners. The business has secured new business in the US market from Marc Jacobs, John Varvatos and Saks Fifth Avenue over the past year.  Its Big Content Platform has been enhanced with social media user generated content capabilities. Amplience CEO and founder James Brooke said “These are exciting times at Amplience. We’ve enjoyed strong growth in both North America and Europe as retailers increasing see the value of a single solution that transforms the economics of digital content. We enable them to deliver more engaging content experiences more often and across every touch point.”

The business has appointed additional team members following the investment. Rob Shaw joins from Hybris as VP Sales, former M&S programme manager Craig Smith takes up the newly created role of VP Solutions & Customer Success, and Ian Matthias has left Hybris to take up the role of Product Director.
