Leading auto parts and workshop equipment distributor, Andrew Page Group, has announced a record quarter, for Q1 2015. At the start of 2015 Mark Saunders was appointed as chief executive and since then the company has expanded its Markham Vale distribution facility by 40 per cent with a new mezzanine floor taking it to 138,000 sq.ft which will provide some two miles of additional shelf space and supporting its online and B2C aspirations. It has also made additional investments in stock. As a result of this continued investment Andrew Page’s ability to deliver parts to its sites throughout the day and overnight is driving the best ever levels of availability to its trade customers.
“We have also now approved a major investment to upgrade our telephone systems and will be announcing a number of new branch openings imminently,” commented Marks Saunders. “Clearly we plan to continue this positive trajectory and, with the continued support of our staff, customers and key supply partners, we cannot see why this cannot be achieved.”
This sentiment was echoed by supported by Simon Mullins, sales & marketing director, who has been with the group for over 25 years. Simon puts the success down to a simple formulae, adapting the values and ethos of the original Andrew Page network to suit the modern day trading environment.
