AO World enjoyed a significant sales boost during lockdown and sales continue to grow even with high street based competitors back open for business.
For the year ended March 31st, the business grew its revenues to £1.046bn and generated a pre-tax profit of £1.5m as opposed to a £20.2m loss for the previous year.
It had closed its Netherlands business in the third quarter and focused its international efforts instead on its German business.
The group had also developed its AO branded mobile proposition and is now ready to target its next stage of growth.
