Australian group snaps up Navabi

City Chic Collective (CCC) has signed and completed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100 per cent of the shares in JPC United GmbH, from the co-founders of Navabi for a consideration of €6m.

Navabi was founded in 2009 as an online marketplace specialising in plus size womenswear and has also developed its own brands which are sold exclusively on the marketplace. Navabi’s customers are primarily in Germany.

This latest acquisition joins Evans which was acquired from Arcadia’s administrators and CCC’s Australian brands. The group generated some AUD 258m in revenues for FY21 which is 32.9 per cent up on FY20. The business operates 89 stores in Australia and New Zealand as well as websites for those countries, also wholesaling in the US, Canada, UK and Europe.
