B&M has appointed Mike Schmidt as its new CFO.

Schmidt will join by January 3rd, 2023 and replaces incumbent Alex Russo who is moving into the role of CEO. Schmidt, who joined DFS in 2014, will remain in his post at the business to oversee the furniture retailer’s year-end results and to prepare for transition prior to joining B&M.
