With growing disquiet about avoidable pollution building amongst consumers, Boden has announced that it will no longer use plastic sequins on its clothing. It is instead using glamorous fabrics and embroidery to enhance partywear ranges.
Johnnie Boden said that the decision had been made ‘to keep our oceans happy’ rather than see sequins finding their way into the seas.
