Bonmarche’s store performance for the 13 weeks to December 30th was disappointing as it reflected a 9.7 per cent fall on like-for-like results for the previous year. Online sales rose by 28.5 per cent for the period meaning that overall sales had dropped by 5.5 per cent. Bonmarche is one of many multichannel retailers finding market conditions to be very challenging and its share price has now also fallen to 95p.
