Sales at Boohoo for the year to February 28th grew by 27 per cent to £139.9 million with the UK’s revenue showing 33 per cent growth. The business had weathered a slowing second half which it attributed to heavy discounting on the High Street due to the warmer than average Autumn season. Sales overseas were also affected by currency fluctuations against the strong £ sterling but the business had re-priced to retain customers in countries like Australia. Boohoo is now focused on achieving long term profitable growth in its key markets of the UK, Australia, USA, Ireland and France and reports a good start to its current financial year. It will be test marketing a small range via ASOS this season.
