Index Ventures has taken a minority stake in The Cambridge Satchel Company, founded in 2008, for $21 million. The investment will be used to underpin plans to build the management team as well as recruit digital and international managers as the business targets stronger sales in existing and new territories. Index Ventures is well known for having backed both ASOS and Net-A-Porter.
