Cegid supports Quiz Clothing’s omnichannel growth

Fast
fashion brand, Quiz Clothing, has underpinned its omnichannel growth
plans with the roll out of a solution from global retail software
provider, Cegid. With a diverse global network of online and offline
touchpoints, including 250 stores and concessions as well as over 50
franchise outlets, the brand sought to deliver a more connected customer
experience across its channels as it looked to grow internationally.

As
Quiz Clothing grew, it became clear that its legacy retail management
system did not support the business as it developed into new channels,
as Haroun Saleemi, Head of Ecommerce at Quiz Clothing, explained:

“We
lacked transparency and didn’t have a very efficient or scalable order
management system, so it was very time consuming to fulfil web orders,
which meant we were struggling to meet customer expectations, let alone
grow our ecommerce offering. We needed a single solution to simplify
our operations across our business model – in stores, ecommerce,
concessions and franchises – and deliver to customer needs across every
channel.”

Implementing
its Yourcegid Retail solution, Cegid was able to address Quiz
Clothing’s visibility and availability issues, reporting back in
real-time to better connect its sales channels to head office. This
enabled the retailer to begin adding value to its operations, fine
tuning its merchandising, stock control and order management systems.
Knowing how quickly an item is selling during the day can help us to
make a decision – whether to repeat a style, cancel or hold back
inventory in certain channels,” added Haroun. “Because of the sales
information we now receive, we can buy better and make decisions
quicker.”

Since
implementing the Yourcegid Retail solution, Quiz has raised online
conversion rates by 15 per cent, with the unified view of the business
leading to improvements in fulfilment accuracy, up 30 per cent, and
improved stock taking results by more than 25 per cent..

Samir
Belkhayat, UK Country Manager at Cegid, added: “Speed to market is
critical for a business, such as Quiz Clothing, which operates – and is
looking for growth – in the rapid paced environment that is fast
fashion. A single view of stock and access to real-time data has enable
Quiz to hone its operational processes and better analyse shopper
insights to deliver a connected customer experience across its
channels.”

Quiz
Clothing now plans to roll out Cegid’s omnichannel module, building on
the insights it have gained to better serve customers who shop through
multiple channels, such as click-and-collect and reserve in-store.
