Clarks, which has furloughed thousands of its store employees whilst its 345 stores lay dormant during the lockdown, has called in advisors to develop a potential restructuring of its business. It had previously announced that a small number of unprofitable stores would be closed as their leases come up for renewal.
It is thought unlikely that the family owned business would seek a CVA for Clarks.
