Hot on the heels of Morrisons’ decision to sell off its
direct acquisition Kiddicare, to focus on restoring its position in the
fiercely competitive supermarket sector, comes news that Ann Summers has
appointed KPMG to help it find a buyer for Knickerbox. Ann Summers remains a
strong player in the party plan channel with 5000 party planners staging over
2500 parties a week. Certain of Ann
Summers lines are now also stocked by Superdrug.
