British fashion house David Nieper has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Edwards, a senior designer who began her career with the legendary Jean Muir. In her new role Elizabeth will lead a team of nine at a time when the Derbyshire company is enjoying record sales of its Made in Britain fashion. Elizabeth whose career includes periods with Mulberry, Betty Jackson, Catherine Walker, Frank Usher and Shop Direct replaces Julie Stone who has retired after 26 successful years with the catalogue and online business.
