DS Smith’s UK eCommerce division has created a corrugated storage solution for The Works’new warehouse facility.
The Works specialises in books, toys, gifts, stationery and arts & crafts supplies. Reaching customers both in store and online, it sells over one million products every week and serves 22.5 million customers a year. As a result of its growth, The Works moved to a new storage and distribution facility in February to accommodate its 18,000 SKUs. DS Smith designed a corrugated pick bin that was strong, easy to assemble and durable specifically for The Works and it has enabled the retailer to utilise every space in its warehouse and to guarantee high visibility for order picking personnel to work efficiently.
