East of England Co-op, a regional independent retail co-operative with branches across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, has announced the expansion of their use of RELEX Solutions, provider of unified supply chain and retail planning solutions.
Since June 2013, RELEX has supported East of England Co-op with tailored solutions to optimize their store layouts, and since June 2019, with advanced tools to enhance their forecasting and replenishment strategy. East of England Co-op will now expand their use of RELEX to further refine their pricing and promotional planning. This expansion aims to drive improved sales and profit, ensure their promotional offerings resonate with customers, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Furthermore, as part of a broader business transformation program, East of England Co-op will upgrade their space and assortment capabilities to the RELEX cloud-based solution. This upgrade will introduce automated API data feeds that serve their RELEX ecosystem across forecasting and replenishment, space and assortment, and pricing and promotions.
East of England Co-op selected RELEX for its comprehensive capabilities in demand prediction, data analysis, operational optimization, and process automation. The unified promotion planning and pricing optimization solution from RELEX was a key factor in their decision, as it enables seamless data integration, significantly reducing the manual effort and time required.
