Sales at Evans Cycles for the year ended October 28th 2017 rose to £138 million, up by £3 million on the previous year. However, operating losses before tax amounted to £2.5 million sparking concern about the ability of the business to fund a turnaround. The retailer has begun to reconfigure some of its stores to expand the range of e-bikes it offers and sees this as a growth opportunity.
