Department store and online retailer Fenwick has posted results for the year ended January 2023, its 140th year, which show turnover up from £153.7m to £199.7m, with gross sales up by 31 per cent to £315m. Online sales had grown by 51 per cent driven by the company’s investment in its digital capabilities.
The business which negotiated a deal to sell its London store premises for £430m is now investing in the redevelopment of its Newcastle flagship store.
