A number of roles in businesses which Frasers Group has acquired are being made redundant. Consultations have begun, or have taken place, with head office employees of Amara, I Saw It First, Missguided, and Studio Retail as the group looks to eliminate duplication, consolidate teams, and reduce costs.
More than a hundred employees are expected to be impacted and the ‘open to work’ decal available to those on the LinkedIn platform has already begun to appear.
Meanwhile, the business says that it is likely to close stores that were acquired as part of its House of Fraser takeover in 2018. There are currently 31 still in operation.
