Following its win at the ECMOD Awards last week,
Cornwall-based Seasalt has added another trophy to its cabinet. It’s received a
Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development-the first time ever for a fashion
company. The award recognises the pioneering efforts the company has made to
the organic cotton industry in the UK, with Seasalt being the first fashion
company back in 2005 to gain Soil Association certification for cotton
garments, writes the West Briton.
