Games Workshop, the miniature war games manufacturer and retailer, has posted revenues of £414.8 million for the year ended 29 May 2022. This was up from £369.5 million last year and also saw pre-tax profits rise to £156.5 million from £150.9 million, however, increased costs had impacted its core gross margin which was now being addressed by a price rise to customers.
CEO Kevin Rountree said: “It’s been another astonishing year. I once again take great comfort that some things don’t change – our staff and customers love Warhammer. I thank you all for helping make this another very successful year.”
The business operates a retail chain in the UK, and sells online in the UK and internationally. It says that it sees strong growth opportunities, particularly in the USA and Asia.
