Garden4Less develops marketplace offer

Midlands based online gardening products retailer Garden4Less is set to open its site to sellers in the garden centre sector in a bid to develop an offering to rival Amazon. The business, which has traded for over ten years, has trialled its marketplace proposition with 30 merchant partners over the past 12 months which has enabled its product range to expand to more than 10,000 SKUs ranging from small hand tools and pet toys to high-end garden furniture sets.

“We see this as a win-win scenario for both garden4less and the (participating) garden centres. It will expand the range of products available for over half a million customers whilst giving garden centres a new channel to market their products through, with commission charges cheaper than Amazon market place.”  said Garden4less managing director Robert Osborne.
