Borderfree’s global ecommerce platform and are already taking advantage of the

Already well-established

US retailers, Borderfree has been enabling and growing cross-border online
sales for its clients since 2008. Borderfree’s team of global ecommerce experts
works with retailers to tailor a fully-optimised international site experience
based on local preferences, best practices and market insights while keeping
the retailer’s brand at the forefront. Borderfree integrates seamlessly with a
retailer’s existing ecommerce infrastructure and international operations, and
with the company’s BFX platform, retailers can launch in a matter of days as
opposed to months with other solutions. Retailers are able to market and sell
to customers in more than 220 countries and territories and more than 74
currencies worldwide. With the UK firmly in first position as the world’s
largest online exporter, Borderfree’s technology represents a potential £28
billion overseas opportunity to UK retailers.
Lila Snyder, President, Global Ecommerce at Pitney Bowes Inc. commented “We’re thrilled to launch in the UK with eleven iconic British brands on our platform. UK retailers are some of the most sophisticated in the world, and we’re excited about the opportunity to unlock international demand and scale global online sales through Borderfree’s platform. The UK ecommerce sector is already quite mature, and the vast majority of major retailers have been offering international sales and shipping for some time. Borderfree simplifies and improves that process; lowering barriers by making it easier for consumers to shop and simple for retailers to meet that demand. The insights we provide enable our clients to identify key markets with latent demand, and our technology allows retailers to target consumers with tailored marketing messages, so shoppers only see online content that is relevant to them, no matter where they are based. It’s been a powerful model for our American clients and we’re excited to work with British brands to bring their rich retailing heritage and unique products to global consumers.”
Neil Borer, eCommerce Director at Harrods commented: “At
Harrods, we are committed to delivering the highest possible standard of
customer experience across all markets in which we operate. As a leader in

seamlessly across geographies. We also were particularly interested in partnering
with Borderfree to extend our reach into China and Russia, two markets that
hold great consumer promise for us. Borderfree’s reputation as a strong

look forward to working with them to scale our international business.”
