Cashmere and fine knitwear manufacturer Hawick which was founded in 1874 has entered administration. The business produced an own brand range as well as manufacturing for other retailers and has sales of £8.5 million. KPMG’s Tony Friar and Blair Nimmo are handling the administration which has already seen over 120 staff made redundant.
