H&M which has been trialling the sale of third party brands on its main Swedish website since February is now extending the opportunity to more brands as well as commencing sales on its main German website.
The fashion conglomerate has been selling other third party products on its Arket and Other Stories websites for some time but, to date, it has limited the ‘partnership’ opportunity on its main website to cosmetics brands. It is now embracing the trend of adopting a marketplace model as it strives to drive further traffic to and greater sales from its sites.
