In its latest trading update, House of Fraser has shown a 30.8 per cent increase in its online sales for the 26 weeks for August 1st, 2015. Online is now accounting for 17.5 per cent of sales for the department store business which has invested heavily in meeting customer needs. The retailer has ramped up its delivery proposition with midnight cut off for order collection from 12 noon next day and has also released an iPhone app which enables customers to scan barcodes whilst in-store.
