IKEA increases UK sales

In a year which saw it open two new stores in Exeter and Sheffield, as well as a new city centre store in London on Tottenham Court Road, IKEA increases its annual sales by 5.9 per cent to £1.965 million. In the year to August 31st, it had also invested in two new customer delivery centres and a London parcel depot to help support its increased online sales. Online revenues for the year were up by 14.4 per cent with some 15.5 per cent of all sales conducted online.
