In a statement the uniforms and workwear marketer said Tucker,
who joined the Board in February 2005, “decided to progress
his career in the retail sector where he was previously
employed”. Julian Budd, chief executive, has assumed
responsibility for the sales function at board level. At the
general operating level, the statement added that Alexandra is
“well served by existing senior management and it is
anticipated that a further announcement will be made in due
course on a suitable replacement”.
