Joules Clothing-ECMOD winner in the Women’s Apparel and
Accessories category-has refreshed its website, adopting the
theme “Living the good life”. New features include
“Get the Look”, “Shop by Occasion” and a
Joules Village section, which aims to bring the Joules brand to
virtual life. Visitors to the “village” can download
guides to enjoying the British summer and crafts, as well as
other editorial.
The lifestyle brand, which has strong links with the equestrian
circuit, intends to update its web content regularly and will
include competitions and information on in-store events.
“We realised that our website is an important source of
information for all our customers and wanted to improve ease of
navigation and content and facilitate sales,” said
marketing director Georgina Johnson. “We also wanted to
offer more to our customers than just a transactional site, and
we believe the new Joules Village pages will provide extra points
of interest and allow them to feel a part of the Joules
family.”
Joules announced a stellar performance in 2007 and a bright
outlook for 2008. It reported £22.2 million turnover in
2007, up 57 per cent on 2006. This growth was 31 per cent above
budget. The company also enjoyed a 38 per cent increase in
profits.
