Multichannel retailer Joules has launched a new website with the
aim of accelerating its international expansion and enhancing the
customer experience.
The site, still on the Hybris platform, is using the Hybris
Commerce Accelerator tool to support the launch, while Hybris
partner Eclipse Group has been working on new features for the
site.
The new features for the multichannel retailer’s website include
new page designs to provide an improved user interface and a
better online shopping experience, as well as the inclusion of a
guest user checkout, which is aimed to improve conversion
rates.
According to Joules’s design and development manager Tony Lake,
among the greatest advantages of the platform is its ability to
“rapidly deploy” new languages and currencies.
“As we expand internationally this will become increasingly
important,” he notes, adding that by using a platform
that’s highly scalable and allows for Joules to add modules as
and when it needs them, “we are well positioned for future
growth and international expansion”.
