LK Bennett is continuing to reshape its store operations as it meets the challenges of ‘new normal’ retailing. It plans to shed 19 staff, primarily those holding store manager roles, and will instead rely upon cluster managers who can oversee multiple outlets.
The business has moved at speed to reduce its overheads and is currently adapting unused space in its Brook Street, West London store for use as offices. It announced plans to sell off its head office in June.
Meanwhile, the business says it is trading strongly online and in overseas markets.
