Lumberjack Tools has accelerated its retail expansion, having just signed a new deal to stock its products with The Range.
The agreement will see the Wolverhampton-based power tool supplier – run by the Evans brothers, having up to 100 products listed on The Range’s website, significantly increasing the firm’s online brand presence.
A selection of home use DIY tools will be among the first products immediately available to buy, with garage equipment and garden tools from its Autojack and Gardenjack brands to be added over the coming year.
Fred Evans (pictured), co-founder and director, said: “We are really excited about listing with The Range, as it will give us access to lots of new customers and national exposure.
“The relationship came about after a senior manager purchased one of our toolboxes online and was really impressed with the quality and value for money. They requested that the buying team look at getting our products on to its website and, after some positive discussions, the decision was taken to stock all three of our brands.
“Our commitment to keeping significant levels of stock during the pandemic is a big positive for the major retailers and we have lots of new products coming online that will be introduced to The Range website over the course of the year. We’re also in the early stages of organising spot deals for customers to deliver even better value.”
“Building strategic ties with retailers is a key part of our growth and this deal will help us accelerate conversations with other potential outlets.”
A spokesperson for The Range said: “We are pleased to share that Lumberjack will be providing hundreds of products to Range customers via our website. The brand has a number of extremely high quality and affordable products available, which we know our customers will be eager to shop for and use in their DIY ventures.
“Lumberjack’s dedication to providing quality products at good value for money strongly aligns with our brand values and we believe bringing it on board will be a fantastic collaboration.”
This new retail opportunity follows a year of growth for the firm, which saw sales increase to £6 million. It also invested £600,000 into an additional 17,000 square foot distribution facility, next to its West Midlands headquarters.
