Finnish tech company Digital Goodie has acquired Manchester headquartered Maginus which provides eCommerce and technology solutions for mid-market retailers and distributors.
Digital Goodie was founded in 2009 and provides a customisable connected commerce platform which is used predominantly by grocery groups in the Nordic countries. Its chairman Irwin Kramer said: “We are very excited to add Maginus to our eCommerce strategy as (a) complimentary add-on to Digital Goodie. This combination creates a unique platform in the eCommerce market with a headless commerce offering built on a micro-services architecture with the ability to serve both grocery and general product retailers.”
