Sportswear retailer JD Sports Fashion saw like-for-like
sales at its core UK and Ireland stores rise 3.2 percent in the seven weeks to
5th January. However, due “significant level of losses” and a disappointing
Christmas performance in its outdoor division, which includes the Blacks and
Millets fascias, pretax profit for the year is expected at the lower end of
expectations.
