  • Claire Neillands, a former senior marketing
    manager at Digital UK, has been appointed head of cross-channel
    marketing at clothes and accessories retailer White
    Stuff.

  • Online pharmacy Chemist Direct appointed former Play.com
    managing director Stuart Rowe as its new chief
    executive. Founder Mitesh Soma moves to the
    position of executive chairman.

  • Hamish Mansbridge, formerly finance director
    at The White Company, has joined outdoor apparel and equipment
    retailer Snow + Rock as group chief financial officer.

  • Tiffany & Co, the jewellery retailer, named Glasses Direct
    marketing director Rob Silsbury as its new
    ecommerce director for UK and Europe.

  • Shoe retailer Clarks has hired the former head of ecommerce
    at Screwfix Direct John Ashton as head of
    multichannel retail.

  • Tesco confirmed that UK boss Richard Brasher
    is leaving the business. He stepped down from the board with
    immediate effect, and will officially depart in July following a
    handover period. Group chief executive Philip
    Clarke
    now assumes responsibility for the UK business.

  • Ecommerce trading solutions provider eCommera has hired
    Omid Rezvani, a former chief executive at
    Symsource, as director of mobile commerce solutions. He will be
    tasked with managing the development of the firm’s mobile
    commerce strategy.

  • Payment processor Sage Pay has announced a trio of
    appointments. Former Yell vice president and director of
    engineering for new media and enterprise systems Hilla
    Pedramparsi
    has been made chief technology officer,
    Alicia Skubick, formerly global head of
    marketing and PR at Travelex Business Payments, joins as head of
    marketing, while Chris Wade is promoted from
    group business development manager to head of strategic
    programmes.

  • Transactis, the consumer insight company, has hired database
    marketing specialist Patrice Bendon as head of
    business development to manage the company’s home shopping,
    broker and reseller relationships, as well as focus on
    development of a full marketing services proposal within the
    retail sector.
