Mark Swire, finance director at fashion etailer
Adili, has stepped down as a board member and will be leaving the
business as part of the company’s recent restructure to align its
costs. No date has been given for his departure.

Iain McIntosh will replace Mike
Greig as chief financial officer of educational supplies
distributor RM when Greig retires in March 2010.

Luxury fashion etailer My-wardrobe.com appointed Amanda
Metcalfe as marketing director. Metcalfe was formerly
marketing and communications director at Koodos.

Gerry Johnson has left bookseller Waterstone’s,
where he held the post of managing director. Replacing him is
parent company HMV’s group development director Dominic
Myers, who led the integration of Ottakar’s into
Waterstone’s in 2006.

Decor cataloguer OKA Direct has reorganised its management
structure, promoting finance director Tracey
Alston to managing director. Cofounding director
Annabel Astor continues as chief executive
focusing on the creative side of the business, incorporating
design, buying, catalogue, and marketing. The appointment sees
Alston and Lady Astor working together on strategy and expansion
plans, which include strengthening OKA’s UK presence as well as
taking the business overseas to Europe and the Middle East.

Clare Dobbie joins fashion etailer ASOS as
marketing director. She was most recently an advertising agency
consultant and prior to that worked for apparel retailer the Gap
as vice president of marketing for Europe.

Rebecca Leuw has left homewares and apparel
retailer/cataloguer the White Company to join fashion retailer
Crew Clothing.
