N Brown Group re-aligns marketing function

N Brown Group has parted company with its chief brand officer Kenyatte Nelson as it moves to simplify its retail marketing function. The business will now integrate brand, corporate communications, creative services, customer insight and marketing into its retail division under the control of Sarah Welsh, retail CEO.

Steve Johnson, CEO, N Brown said: “It is with great sadness that we confirm the departure of Kenyatte Nelson. He joined us in 2019 and has had an enormous influence on the creation of our unique brand propositions.

“Under his leadership, we have built a first class marketing team who are true ambassadors of our business and I have no doubt that they will continue to support us brilliantly as seek to achieve our ambition that by championing inclusion we will become the most loved and trusted fashion retailer.”
