Naked Wines sales up for 2013

Sales for the year to December 31st 2013 were up from £34.9 million to £38.7 million at Naked Wines which also saw its pre-tax profits increase from £963,000 to £1.5 million. During the year the business had raised £5 million investment from its customers via its Fine Wine bond for investment in quality wine production. The business boasts some 141,000 “angels” who make regular monthly payments to the business in order to fund investment in independent wine producers and benefit from discounts on the wines they go on to buy.
