Net-a-Porter taps McDowell to develop editorial content

Net-a-Porter, the designer apparel etailer, has appointed Colin
McDowell MBE to the newly created post of creative editor at
large. McDowell will work alongside Net-a-Porter’s editor,
Claudia Plant, and the rest of the team in developing video
content that will form part of the site’s editorial offering. In
other Net-a-Porter news, owner Natalie Massenet is said to have
appointed an investment bank to conduct a strategic review of the
business and its expansion options, which could lead to
recruitment of a major investor. A spokesperson for Net-a-Porter
declined to comment on the speculation.
