ProCook has doubled its warehousing capacity in line with its growth strategy. The Gloucestershire based kitchenware retailer has signed a 15-year lease on a neighbouring 56,000 sq ft unit to support its current 43,000 sq ft facility off Junction 12 of the M5 motorway. In addition to the warehouse that will handle goods in and retail replenishment, the new facility includes offices and a showroom to be used for merchandising and training, enabling the brand to facilitate its growing head office needs.
ProCook CEO Steve Sanders said: “Increased warehouse space was always in our plans for 2020 but due to significantly increased demand for ProCook products we have chosen a facility much larger than previously envisaged. We are confident that our new capacity will see us through this period of exceptional growth and beyond.”
Daniel O’Neill, ProCook Founder said: “Our decision to expand to St Modwen Park Gloucester was straightforward. The developer has delivered units of industry-leading specification and having acquired our space at Gateway 12 from them previously, we knew that this was the right call. The additional space will enable growth & for us to split our internet, retail fulfilment and replenishment operations.”
