Peter Williams takes back CEO role at Jack Wills


Peter Williams one of the co-founders of Jack Wills is to
step back into the CEO role at the fashion business as it confirmed that it is
no longer aiming to float on the London Stock Exchange. Wendy Becker who joined the business two
years ago as chief operating officer and has latterly held the CEO, leaves the business. With 62 UK stores, a further eleven in the
United States and 6 in Asia, Jack Wills posted sales of £118 million for 2014
on which it made a pre-tax loss of £6.7 million. Williams and co-founder Robert Shaw hold 70
per cent of the business, Inflexion holds 27 per cent with the balance shared
by the business’ management team.
