Philip Day charged almost £1m


According to a report in the Metro, the owner of the
Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Philip Day, has been told to pay almost £1 million
after trashing an ancient wood near Roman landmark Hadrian’s Wall. He was fined
£450,000 and ordered to hand over another £457,000 in costs.
