PhotoBox Group increases annual sales

Direct to consumer personalised products business PhotoBox Group recorded 22.8 per cent revenue growth for the year to 30th April 2015. Sales stood at £215.3 million, against £175.3 million for the previous year, with Moonpig growing by almost 15 per cent. During the year the Moonpig gifts range had been extended and the business saw strong growth from its mobile proposition. Some 43 per cent of Moonpig transactions came from mobile, a percentage which is continuing to grow in the current year.  In 2014 more photographs were taken than ever before and it is this trend which is driving growth across the PhotoBox offering in the UK, Europe and Australia.

Commenting on the results Stan Laurent, group CEO said “It’s been an incredible 2 months for the Group. We’ve continued to ramp up our mobile propositions across all brands and all platforms, and expand our customer reach whilst delivering on our M&A strategy. Our organic growth has accelerated and Hofman is now largely integrated into the Group. I am proud of what the team has achieved and I look forward to offering new ways for our customers to be ‘even more personal’ in the year ahead.”
