The MHRA has warned that blood samples using finger pin prick testing may produce unreliable results. As a result retailers have been told to immediately suspend the sale and deliveries of home testing kits for Covid-19 antibodies. Labs have also been told to stop processing the tests.
The kits have been sold by retailers including Superdrug and Babylon.
