Space NK has promoted Andy Lightfoot who joined Space NK in 2016 as group digital director to the CEO role. Incumbent Chris Garek now moves to the role of executive chairman at the premium beauty products retailer. Space NK has 69 stores in the UK ad Ireland as well as 41 in the US and sells online.
“Andy’s drive and determination coupled with his leadership skills in his new role of CEO will enable Space NK UK and US to demonstrate itself as a leading omnichannel an customer centric retailer,” said Garek. “Retail is increasingly competitive, but we are bucking the trend of the high street as we continue to open stores in both the UK and US and deliver ahead of market growth online.”
