Sweet year at Hotel Chocolat


Last year was sweet at Hotel Chocolat, which delivered
record sales and profits in the 12 months to 30th June 2012. According to the
Telegraph, the multichannel retailer posted a sales rise of 6 percent to £63.8
million and an 84 percent increase in pretax profits to £5.4 million. Hotel
Chocolat recently announced the launch of a skincare range called Cocojuvenate,
which will be used in the company’s Cocojuvenate spa at the Hotel Chocolat
Boucan Hotel & Restaurant on St Lucia and will also be sold in its stores
and online.
