Tesco’s group multichannel director Robin Terrell will welcome one of his former Amazon colleagues Allan Lyall to his team in the role of customer fulfilment director next week. Lyall was previously responsible for 21 Amazon fulfilment centres in five countries, and prior to that, had spent six years in Paris where he held the role of director of fulfilment for Apple. The new role will see Lyall playing a key role in developing Tesco’s home shopping operations across all merchandise categories.
