There is more competition on the horizon at the value end of the market as Dutch owned retailer has announced it will open seven stores in the UK this year and expects to have 75 by the end of 2016. Tiger, which has been in the UK since 2010, currently operates 42 UK stores, 30 of which are located in the South East. Among the locations for new store openings are Bristol and Exeter, taking the retailer into the south west, and Dundee which will be its first in Scotland.
