Former Rohan director Richard Utting has joined Regatta-owned
Hawkshead as brand director. He is tasked with leading Hawkshead
back to its former glory. The company was bought out by Regatta
Group in 2007 after failing twice in one year. Utting was
previously retail and marketing director for Rohan and has also
held the position of business development manager at C&J Clark
(better known as footwear retailer Clarks) where he was
responsible for growing retail and franchise opportunities within
the UK and north America.
